Lanz Heating & Cooling, Inc. in Champaign, IL is looking to hire a full-time entry-level HVAC Repairman / Maintenance Technician to provide routine heating and cooling maintenance for our residential clients. The typical schedule for this position is 8:00 am-4:30 pm but we offer flexibility within the schedule. Our entry-level HVAC Repairmen / Maintenance Technician earns a competitive wage of $17-$20 per hour, based on experience. You have the potential to earn over $85,000/year through generous revenue-sharing bonuses and SPIFFS based not only on sales but also on positive customer feedback. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL HVAC REPAIRMAN / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As an HVAC Repairman / Maintenance Technician, you strive to learn everything you can from our experienced HVAC Technicians. You go out on location to perform maintenance on our residential clients' heating and cooling systems. If there are any needed repairs, you explain our services and policies to customers before completing those repairs. Before you leave, you ensure that our customers are happy with your work. Keeping things organized, you fill out all necessary paperwork and collect payments. Each day, you are excited to come to work to gain experience and understanding of the industry to advance in your career as a skilled HVAC Technician.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to enroll in HVAC technical school and/or in-house training programs
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Confidence working from heights
  • Ability to safely operate power and hand tools
