Job Title: HVAC Installer


Responsibilities:


  1. Installation of HVAC Systems:

    • Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to blueprints, manufacturer instructions, and building codes.
    • Assemble and install ductwork and piping as required for HVAC systems.
  2. Equipment Setup and Testing:

    • Set up HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
    • Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  3. System Troubleshooting and Repair:

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
    • Repair or replace defective components as needed to restore system functionality.
  4. Safety Compliance:

    • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
    • Adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines during installation and maintenance activities.
  5. Customer Interaction:

    • Communicate with customers to explain installation procedures and system operation.
    • Address customer questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Complete installation reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
    • Record details of services provided, including parts used and work performed.
  7. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure installations meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct quality inspections to verify workmanship and system performance.
  8. Team Collaboration:

    • Coordinate with other installers and team members to complete projects efficiently.
    • Assist colleagues with tasks and share knowledge to support team success.
  9. Continuous Learning:

    • Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and installation techniques.
    • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Equipment Maintenance:

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to prolong lifespan and optimize performance.
    • Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in installation and maintenance activities.
  11. Adherence to Schedule:

    • Ensure installations are completed within scheduled timelines.
    • Communicate any delays or challenges promptly to supervisors or project managers.
