Position Title: Technical Writer (YAML + HTML) PAZE SOW

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Remote local, need to be able to come in office when needed)

Job Type: Contract

Contract Period: 6 months

Employment Type: Full-time

PayRate: $70hr to $58.50hr

Their employees work in a cutting-edge environment focused on security, technology, andcollaboration, with opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the financial services industry.We are currently looking for a skilled Technical Writer who has a strong command of both YAML and HTML. The ideal personshould not only be proficient in these technologies but also have a deep understanding of best practices in technicaldocumentations and coding standards.

In addition to technical writing capabilities and understanding of wallets, e-commerce technical implementation, technical

payment flows.

Description of Services and Deliverables:

Scope of Work

• Develop comprehensive documentation that meets EWS Paze standards:
• Gain deep understanding of Paze, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
• Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of our target audience, turning insights into language for usersuccess
• Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and designspecifications
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
• Developing and maintaining YAML-based configuration files and documentation.
• Creating HTML documentation for web-based platforms, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborating with development, product, and engineering teams to gather the necessary technical information.
• Converting existing documentation into YAML and HTML as required.
• Ensuring all documentation is in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Reviewing and editing documentation to ensure technical accuracy and ease of understanding.
• Conducting interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture detailed information and convert it intotechnical documentation.

Execution Approach:

• Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand projectrequirements
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write onboarding processdocumentation
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across alldocumentation

Develop YAML Documentation:

• Create, updated, and maintain YAML-based configuration files and related documentation.
• Follow best practices for YAML formatting and structure to ensure readability and ease of maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to ensure YAML documentation accurately reflects the system
• configuration and requirements.
• Provide guidance on standardizing YAML usage across the organization, ensuring consistency in documentation
• practices.

Creating HTML Documentation:

• Develop HTML-based technical documentation that is clear, concise, and user-friendly.
• Ensure HTML documentation adhere to the PAZE style guide and web accessibility standards.
• Offer recommendations for improving the structure and presentation of web-based documentation.
• Assist in the implementation of HTML templates to streamline the creation of future documentation.

Collaboration and Information Gathering:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and engineering, to gather thenecessary technical information.
• Conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to obtain in-depth knowledge and convert it into precisetechnical documentation.
• Provided feedback and suggestions to SMEs and other stakeholders to improve the quality and clarity oftechnical information.

Review and Quality Assurance:

• Review and edit existing and newly created documentation to ensure technical accuracy, clarity, andconsistency.
• Implement a review process that includes peer reviews and stakeholder approvals.
• Offer guidance on documentation best practices, including version control and documentation lifecycle.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

• Create a knowledge base or reference guide to help team member understand and maintain documentationstandards.
• Ensure a smooth handover of all documentation, including provided any necessary training or support during thetransition
