How you can make an impact: As a Dentist you will provide outstanding dental care to the patients of CAMcare that is consistent with accepted professional standards including diagnosis, preventative, operative, surgical, and oral pathologic dental procedures. You will bring your expertise to a growing and mission-driven organization that thrives on collaboration, novel thinking and innovation.

What you will do: Work cooperatively with all providers and staff to carry out the goals and objectives of CAMcare Health Corporation, according to established policies and procedures.

*Assist with the implementation and monitoring of our policies, procedures and protocols, as needed to achieve CAMcare Health Corporation goals and objectives.

*Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of Dental Quality Assurance program.

*Attend and actively participate in departmental and medical staff meetings as required.

*Support your colleagues with internal referrals when clinically appropriate.

*Provide oral health assessment, diagnosis and treatment as clinically indicated.

*Ensure that your documentation in the oral health record justifies prescribed treatment and includes findings/progress, oral health orders, and plan of care, in accordance with CAMcare Healthcare Corporation policy and procedures.

*Provide general dentistry care for all individuals without regard to ability to pay, race, color, origin or creed, according to CAMcare Health Corporation policy.

*Provide consultation, guidance and direction to dental support staff to ensure continuity and quality of services of care.

*Advise patients on dental care education issues when needed.

* Effectively and efficiently complete all paperwork requirements for billing and medical records compliance.

*Protect patient's oral health by diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, abnormalities of teeth and gums, and undertaking preventive procedures.

*Advise patients on good health practices.

*Use effective clinical judgment in referring patients and receiving referrals. Refers patients to specialists when required and in accordance with their insurance restrictions.

*Perform procedures on patients in need.

*Ensure all patient charts are completed within 24 hours of the patient visit and the charting is accurate to support clinical and documentation requirements via Electronic Health System.

*Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required and ability to work in a variety of settings.

*Ability to work within a team setting and to relate to the special needs of the patient

population.

*Provide consultation, guidance and directions to dental support staff to ensure continuity and quality of services and care.

*Work to ensure patient satisfaction by communicating with patients in a caring and compassionate manner.

*Present information to patients at an educational level consistent with their understanding.

*Listen attentively to patient complaints and resolves or refers to appropriate individuals.

*Comply with treatment protocols as they are developed and implemented.

*Demonstrate concern for patient’s rights, privacy, and dignity.

*Adhere to the American Dental Association Code of Professional Ethics.

*Ability to develop and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with the CEO, CMO, and other members of the Management Team, Board, and community groups.

*Ability to Perform other duties and accepts other responsibilities as assigned.

* Graduate of an accredited School of Dentistry .

* 3-5 years experience in general dentistry with a diverse patient population.

*Maintains Continuing Educational Requirements.

*CDS and DEA License to prescribe and maintain controlled substances are required.

* Active State of New Jersey Dental License and Board Certified are required.

* CPR, BCLS certification required.
