We are currently seeking a full-time CAD Technician. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled professional who wants to be part of an expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Residential and Commercial Land Surveys, including, but not limited to Topographic Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Elevation Certificates, Form Surveys, Final Surveys, Tree Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Platting, and Replatting Drawings;
- Calculate Survey Control and Constructions Staking for field crews;
- Preparation of field sketches;
- Able to search local municipalities for deed research;
- Adhere and understand company's CAD standards and layering system;
- Preparation of Easement Exhibits;
- Basic understanding of deeds, leases and other legal documents for preparation of deed sketches and abstract maps;
- Other duties may be assigned at the direction of management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma/GED diploma;
- 2+ years' experience in DRAFTING in the land surveying industry;
- Must have a valid driver's license;
- High degree of proficiency using Carlson, AutoCAD and or Autodesk;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word/Excel;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to self-motivate.
