We are currently seeking a full-time CAD Technician. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled professional who wants to be part of an expanding team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Residential and Commercial Land Surveys, including, but not limited to Topographic Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Elevation Certificates, Form Surveys, Final Surveys, Tree Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Platting, and Replatting Drawings;
  • Calculate Survey Control and Constructions Staking for field crews;
  • Preparation of field sketches;
  • Able to search local municipalities for deed research;
  • Adhere and understand company's CAD standards and layering system;
  • Preparation of Easement Exhibits;
  • Basic understanding of deeds, leases and other legal documents for preparation of deed sketches and abstract maps;
  • Other duties may be assigned at the direction of management.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of high school diploma/GED diploma;
  • 2+ years' experience in DRAFTING in the land surveying industry;
  • Must have a valid driver's license;
  • High degree of proficiency using Carlson, AutoCAD and or Autodesk;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word/Excel;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to self-motivate.
