Position Summary

An Account Executive has a crucial role in driving our growth through new customer acquisitions and maintaining high levels of customer success to increase net revenue retention. Your primary focus will be on outbound prospecting and sales hunting activities, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities in the cybersecurity domain. You will work closely with potential customers to understand their cybersecurity needs and challenges, proposing customized solutions that align with their business mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in the cybersecurity sector.

• Perform sales hunting activities, including cold calling, emailing, social selling, and networking, to build a robust pipeline of leads.

• Maintain a solid understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including emerging threats, solutions, and competitive offerings.

• Present and demonstrate our cybersecurity solutions to potential customers, highlighting their benefits and ROI.

• Collaborate with the marketing / the Go to Market team to leverage campaigns and events for lead generation.

• Work closely with the technical / solutions architect team to ensure proposed solutions accurately address client needs and challenges.

• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, meetings, and negotiations, in the CRM system.

• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Provide feedback from the field to help shape future product offerings and sales strategies.


Qualifications:

• Proven track record in sales, with at least 3 years of experience in outbound prospecting and sales hunting, preferably in the cybersecurity or IT industry.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, trends, and solutions.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Familiarity with CRM and office productivity software and sales enablement tool
