Cutting Loose Salon is a premier destination for luxury hair care and styling, renowned for our commitment to excellence and creativity. We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our talented team as we expand our services to The St. Regis on Longboat Key, Florida opening this August.

Job Description / Stylist: We are seeking a skilled and experienced stylist to join our team at Cutting Loose Salon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hairstyling, with expertise in all areas including haircuts, color, highlighting, and wedding hair. Experience in providing makeup services is a definite plus. As part of our collaboration with The St. Regis, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent in their luxurious spa area.

Responsibilities: Job Description / Stylist:

  • Provide expert hairstyling services, including haircuts, color, highlighting, and specializing in wedding hair
  • Consult with guests to understand their hair and makeup preferences for special events
  • Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and products
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Flexibility to work during hotel hospitality hours, including weekends and holidays as The St. Regis operates 365 days a year
Requirements


  • Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio showcasing haircuts, color, highlighting, and wedding hair
  • Proficiency in makeup application is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Licensed cosmetologist
