Summary/Description:

Lead and support theElectricalEngineering team for projects in the US MMM (Mining, Minerals, and Metals) business. Manage small to large projects, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Responsible for theElectricalEngineering team's output, technical integrity, and compliance with safety standards. Drive Engineering excellence and adherence to industry codes.

We seek a self-motivated individual with strong leadership and communication skills, adept at solving complex Engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

Lead a discipline project team in the Electricaldepartment for Mining, Minerals, and Metals projects.

Act as the project lead designer/engineer, overseeing the work of engineers, designers, or drafters.

Perform design/Engineering work and deliverables within the Electrical team.

Interpret customer specifications and coordinate/communicate with other disciplines and customers.

Support scope definition, estimation, and progress control of ElectricalEngineering activities.

Lead RFP, estimations, detailed Engineering, and field support project activities.

Ensure familiarity with applicable codes, mining Electrical standards, and customer standards.

Support quality assurance and verification roles on Engineering deliverables.

Identify and resolve issues and problems, keeping abreast of the latest developments in Electrical Engineering.

Act as the Electrical Engineering lead on specific projects when required.

Ensure project scope clarity and compliance with change management processes.

Participate in meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking procedures.

Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Offer construction management support for customers as required.

Liaise with clients, vendors, engineers, and other disciplines.

Contribute to the professional development of less experienced team members.

Deliver Electrical Engineering services meeting Worley, customer, and regulatory standards.

Initiate, manage, and supervise Electrical Engineering activities to meet project requirements.

Participate in the preparation of datasheets, calculation, specifications, material requisition and technical bid evaluation.

Design and analyze of general Mining key equipment Electrical Design and Load requirements design experience.

Participate in site walkdowns, project meetings, design reviews, and incorporation of review comments.

Monitor assigned activities for effective performance and adherence to established policies and standards.

Lead a team to ensure successful delivery for various mining, minerals, and metals projects.

Mentor junior or intermediate staff.

Plan and identify Electrical Engineering resources.

In-process activities for Engineering deliverables (prepare, review, verify, approve).

Coordinate key technical deliverables.

Work interactively with internal and external customers, ensuring high-quality Engineering products and customer satisfaction.

Ensure adherence to government, organization, and customer Engineering standards and procedures.

Participate in Engineering department and section meetings.

Demonstrate highly effective technical and practical Engineering skills, consistently delivering quality work.

Possess sound knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals and basic requirements of other Engineering fields.

Utilize ElectricalEngineering software (ETAP, DIALux) and have a working knowledge of Electrical 3D modeling programs such as Aveva E3D and Smart 3D.

Competently use relevant software, such as MS Office Suite.

Collaborate and develop a strategic pursuit and proposal development of Electrical discipline.

Develop an Electricaldiscipline proposal write-up including technical, value proposition and vision objectives.

Electricaldiscipline specific technical and value improving practices presentations to clients.

Required:

Bachelors Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

10+ years Lead or SeniorElectricalEngineer experience.

8+ years Mining, Minerals & Metals projects experience

Electrical Professional Engineer licensed in Arizona, or able to get an expedited license in the state of Arizona.

Preferred:

Advanced degree inElectricalEngineering would be considered an asset.

3 to 5 years of EPC/EPCM Mining project experience
