Their mission is to revolutionize the financial industry while making a positive impact on society. They are seeking a Director of HR/People to join the team and lead human resources initiatives.


As the top people leader, you will be a high-energy, can-do leader with natural empathy and a talent for shaping and maintaining a purpose-driven company culture. You will be well-versed in cloud-based HR/HCM tools, unafraid of learning new technologies, and capable of training others, adapting, and leading. You will play a critical role in creating an exceptional team member experience, driving growth initiatives, and fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.


What you will do:

  • Create an Incredible Team Member Experience: From onboarding to ongoing development and engagement, you will ensure our team members have a positive and fulfilling experience
  • Drive Scalable Solutions: Develop and implement strategies to enhance our leaders' management skills, grow our team's capabilities, and improve employee retention
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize people-related data to inform decisions and develop key metrics to measure employee happiness, performance, engagement, and retention
  • Performance Management Programs: Develop and implement company-wide programs that reward excellence and promote continuous, transparent feedback
  • Champion Company Values: Build our values into structured programs and exemplify them in your daily interactions
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws
  • Oversee Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition: Manage all aspects of payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition to ensure smooth operations
  • HCM Platform Management: Implement and manage our HCM platform and company directory
  • Employee Relations and Communication: Foster strong employee relations, collaboration, and communication across the organization
  • Implement Discipline and Accountability: Promote a culture of discipline, work ethic, accountability, and compliance with our mission
  • Nurture Company Culture: Continuously nurture and grow our company culture to align with our values and mission
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentorship and coaching to all team members to support their development and growth


What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a fintech or tech startup environment
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based HR/HCM tools and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions and develop meaningful metrics
  • In-depth understanding of federal and state labor laws and compliance requirements
  • A passion for building and maintaining a purpose-driven company culture
  • Strong mentoring and coaching abilities
