As a full-time traveling Commercial Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:

-Must be willing to travel to job sites

•Creating schedules and determining sequencing

•Coordinating all work at the job site to ensure it is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, codes and regulations

•Schedule, inspect, and assure quality control and job site safety

•Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule.

•Review and approve invoices

•Maintain budgetary control of the project

Your relationship with subcontractors and owners is crucial to delivering results, and you’ll actively communicate with each to understand, investigate and resolve issues. Your role will focus on problem solving, providing direction to multiple subcontractors regarding procedures, clarifications, labor and equipment schedules and other appropriate matters. You’ll communicate regularly with your Construction Project Manager and will utilize RedTeam software for project management.

Our Superintendents have five or more years of commercial general contracting or construction management experience working on various industrial and commercial projects. Industrial project experience is required. They are skilled problem solvers with a knack for working with people to achieve success. They are able to work short-term projects of nine to eleven months, involving 85% travel, they receive a per-diem to cover food and lodging while traveling and a vehicle reimbursement program is available. Plus, comprehensive benefits such as healthcare, 401(K), dental, vision and more.
