The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County seeks a full-time Senior Director of Clinical Services to oversee all clinical and youth programs, providing supervision, support, and maintaining essential partnerships within the community. 


Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Director of Clinical Services plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficacy and compliance of our clinical and youth programs. 


Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to staff, including oversight of two director-level positions.
  • Cultivate and maintain memberships with key organizations, including FCIU Statewide Director, Children’s Inter-Agency Coordinating Council, Juvenile Officer’s Association, Municipal Alliance, and Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI).
  • Coordinate participation of staff in relevant committees and subcommittees, ensuring active engagement in community initiatives.
  • Foster and develop partnerships with Monmouth County agencies to enhance service delivery and community impact.
  • Represent the organization at community meetings and deliver presentations on youth programs.
  • Monitor contracts and budgets, ensuring compliance through timely submission of vouchers to the county.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement, schools, and other providers to optimize program coordination and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the Intensive In-Community (IIC) program, school-based initiatives, and suicide prevention grants.
  • Facilitate staff professional development initiatives and ensure compliance with required training.
  • Maintain oversight of client files and paperwork within specified timeframes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and other relevant reports to assess program outcomes and trends.
  • Contribute to agency quality assurance processes, including policy assessment and modification as needed.
  • Actively participate in at least one agency fundraising event annually.
  • Represent the agency in various committees, initiatives, and projects as needed.
  • Research and develop grant proposals to expand program offerings and funding opportunities.
  • Engage in community events and outreach activities to raise awareness of the organization’s mission and services.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by Executive Director.


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
  • Master’s degree in a mental health, social services, or related field.
