Per Diem
Easterseals is looking for a per diem Student Service Aide that enjoys supporting students while they work towards their educational goals with desires to work with the disability community Do your professional goals align with providing individualized services that focus on the power of unlocking every student’s full potential?
Essential Functions:
- Encouraging independence and assisting students to reach their educational goals as outline in their individual educational plan
- Assisting students with activities of daily living including, but not limited to, personal care, feeding toileting, transferring, and transporting students throughout the campus
- Having the ability to work with a wide range of assistive technology to increase student’s independence
- Being able to support students with social emotional concerns and assists them in developing positive social skills
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and/or adults with physical, behavioral, learning, and/or socioemotional disabilities preferred
- 1-3 years' experience as a personal care assistant or school aide preferred
