JDI/JTI has over thirty years' experience specializing in the design, manufacture and sales of high-quality Power and RF ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components into the global electronics market.


Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00, based on experience

Required Education and Experience:

  • Currently working towards or completed a STEM Degree, two or four year.
  • Must have completed AC and DC theory courses
  • Must have hands-on soldering work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in electronic component manufacturing or a similar field.

  • Skilled in Network Analyzer and Impedance Analyzer measurements

Essential Functions:

  • Primarily testing of JTI high frequency components on a Network Analyzer, Impedance Analyzer, and Boonton 34A resonant line, including other testing as required.
  • Organization of Applications Engineering records, both written and computer generated.
  • Computerized compilation of data on Excel.
  • Frequent soldering of small components onto PC boards.
  • Responsible for maintaining the applications lab equipment and verifying/validating performance and calibrations. Operate complex electric test equipment. Write/follow process procedure and specifications.

Attributes and Skills:

  • Ability to apply technical skills, troubleshooting, and analysis to solve customer's problems.
  • Ability to test for Cap, DF, IR, DWV, ESR, breakdown, and TCC/TVC.
  • Ability to apply technical skills, troubleshooting, and analysis to solve customer's problems.
