Team Member: Shift Lead

Brenz Pizza Co. is a specialty pizza company. We specialize in pizza, subs, salads and wings, for dine in, carry out, catering and delivery.

Brenz is a rapidly expanding company and being a Shift Lead could be just the start of your career with us. To maintain this standard, we need a Shift Lead who pays attention to details, can motivate their kitchen staff, and is willing to do whatever it takes to produce amazing food. Are you interested? Job Skills/Requirements:
Knowledge: Shift Leads must have a knowledge of the restaurant industry, health standards, and food safety regulations. We also expect our Shift Leads to know how to order food from our approved vendors and be able to maintain an accurate inventory.

Experience/Education: We expect applicants to have experience in restaurant kitchens and the willingness to learn/do all the jobs in the Brenz kitchen. Leads must also be able to communicate clearly with others (both verbally and written) and be able to organize and make weekly schedules with the help of the General Manager.

Leadership Ability: Being a Shift Lead is like being a team captain. A Benz Shift Lead will need to communicate with their staff, along with drivers, front of the house, and General Manager. Shift Leads need to lead by example, supervise kitchen staff, and uphold Brenzs high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Other: A Brenz Lead must be at least 18 years old. They also need to be able to physically stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads regularly. Also, they will need to take part in the day-to-day tasks in the restaurant kitchen (cleaning, prep, boxing products, etc.). Additionally applicants must have: A high school diploma, Basic math and accounting skills; Strong guest service, communication; leadership and conflict resolutions skills; Good personal grooming; Ability to stand for 8 hours ; Ability to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
