  • Shift: 12-hour nights
  • Days Per Week: 3 shifts per week (36 hours total)
  • Shift Start Time: 07:00 PM
  • Shift End Time: 07:00 AM

Compensation:

  • Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32
  • Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53

Job Summary:


We are seeking experienced Med Surg nurses to join our team. You will be working in a 101-bed, full-service hospital, providing personalized care across more than 40 specialties. As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical assessments, recognizing health issues, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments, prioritize needs, and create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Relationship Building: Develop therapeutic connections with patients and families, maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Education: Educate patients, families, and community members on healthcare choices, disease prevention, and management.
  • Collaboration: Work with colleagues to develop comprehensive care plans, delegate tasks carefully, and ensure follow-up.
  • Problem-Solving: Use effective strategies to address issues, ensuring safety, efficiency, and positive patient outcomes.
  • Teamwork: Achieve goals through collaboration, recognize contributions, and commit to personal and professional growth.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • Licensure: Current and valid nursing license.:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

  • In-depth understanding of nursing standards, procedures, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of nursing laws, hospital procedures, and ethical standards in patient care.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, electronic medical documentation, and information security.
