We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of our organization by maintaining accurate accounts payable records and facilitating timely payments to vendors.

Requirements:

  • Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Process vendor payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers
  • Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain well-organized and up-to-date vendor files and records
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries related to accounts payable
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address payment and invoice inquiries
  • Generate reports and provide analysis related to accounts payable and expense management as needed

Required Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

2. 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position

3. Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel preferred

4. Practical knowledge of computers, software, and industry-related products

5. Ability to quickly learn departmental program structure, policies, and procedures

6. Flexible schedule availability and effective time management skills

7. Proficient in applying mathematical operations to tasks such as expense allocation and payment term discounts
