Job Summary: Manage and grow our sales relationships with key accounts for the Novae LLC family of trailer brands, provide technical guidance to customers and prospects, and collaborate with our internal teams to deliver engineered solutions that meet their technical requirements. Negotiate sales contracts with key accounts to achieve a win-win outcome. Provide ongoing support.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with decision makers and influencers.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements. Provide technical expertise and solutions that address their pain points and goals.
  • Coordinate with our technical, marketing, and product teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and referrals within existing accounts.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, and track key account metrics.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitors, and customer feedback.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and events to represent our company and brand.
  • Work closely with Product Management on opportunities to develop cost effective solutions.
  • Assist in other areas and perform other duties, as needed. (This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this job.)

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in business, marketing, communication, or engineering or have the equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
  • Proven work experience as a technical sales account manager, sales engineer, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid technical background.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visual.
  • Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time.
