We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, construction, and commissioning of a variety of natural gas reciprocating power distribution solutions. The projects you manage will serve every type of customer’s varying power needs from 500kW to 400MW. Your strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution and sustained performance of our energy solutions

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. General Daily Duties
  • Lead and manage multiple projects by managing to scope, cost, quality, regulatory bodies, communication of project status, root cause analysis and escalation management
  • Tracks progress and reviews project tasks to ensure successful completion of assigned project phases within the budgeted time and cost constraints; makes certain that deadlines are met.
  • Assesses project issues and identify solutions to meet project goals
  • Proactively communicates project status, issues and risks to the project stakeholder team
  • Conducts regular status meeting with the customer and project stakeholder team keeping their needs and requirements continuously in view
  • Understand and share the technical, operational, management and sales related issues of the customers and stakeholder team
  • Work with engineering team to implement activities on planning processes to assist in delivering key milestones within the program
  • Support team in communications, planning, budgets and stakeholder meeting preparation and follow-ups
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Explain contract terms and technical details to relevant adjacent teams
  • Provide project management support for activities related to sales & development, construction & safety coordination, operation and commissioning support, and cross-functional change initiatives
2. Utility Interconnect Support
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the successful initiation, execution, monitoring, and completion of natural gas and electrical utility interconnect applications
  • Track applications weekly progress within the supplied utility portals
  • Provide a weekly status to stakeholder group

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology or equivalent experience;
• 7 years of progressive Operations management experience in similar work environment
• An understanding of power distribution controls systems and microgrid design and maintenance principles
• Experience with Smartsheet or NetSuite is preferred
• Experience in managing projects with Utility Interconnect requirements is preferred
• Experience with Natural Gas Distributed Generation Assets is preferred
• Experience managing multiple construction and industrial equipment vendors
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant project software, analytics tools, and MS Office Suite.
