  • Deliver packages to end users/receiving agents
  • Organize and follow most efficient route for deliveries
  • Deliver other zone packages to the airport for proper routing and delivery
  • Organize/route delivery paperwork.
  • Collect delivery signatures and route delivery manifests for customer service to view
  • Acts as liaison for company in terms of customer requests, special handling, delivery logistics, etc
  • Deliver marketing material and customer contact/ sales information, as needed
  • Performs routine maintenance/cleaning on delivery vehicle (cleaning inside/outside of vehicle, monitoring fluid levels, replenishing fuel)
  • Pick customer orders to support order processing
  • Adhere to safety regulations, SOPs, and contamination controls
  • Communicate w/ all levels of peers and management
  • Demonstrates behavior consistent w/ the Company Core Values
  • Manage expenses and reconciles transactions in a timely manner
  • Perform other shipping-related duties such as picking, packing and verifying customer orders

Salary: $DOE/ hr (contract to hire)

Schedule: 40 hrs, FT, Mon-Fri, 730am 5pm

Location: San Diego, CA

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record Required
  • Previous experience as a courier
  • Proficient in a variety of PC software programs w/ strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle customer materials confidentially, properly and safely
  • Skills to be successful in this role - ability to multitask, work efficiently, maintain accuracy w/ attention to detail, professional, courteous, team player
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable with work schedule as dictated by business needs
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers, employees, vendors and all levels of management
  • Ability to perform under stress when confronted with emergent, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations, or situation in which working speed and sustained attention are make-or-break aspects of the job
  • Ability to perform repetitive work or to perform continuously the same work, according to set procedures sequence or pace
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
  • The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
