Job Summary:

Join Sheba Foods as an Order Filler, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately. This position involves picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding our quality standards. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, efficient, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Pick products from inventory based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Pack items securely for delivery, taking care to prevent damage and ensure freshness.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory counts, reporting any discrepancies.
    • Organize and restock shelves as needed to maintain efficient order picking.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect products during the picking process to ensure they meet Sheba Foods’ quality standards.
    • Ensure that all packaging is done in accordance with company guidelines to preserve product integrity.
  • Shipping Preparation:
    • Prepare orders for shipment, creating shipping labels and ensuring correct documentation.
    • Coordinate with delivery services for timely dispatch of orders.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:
    • Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
    • Assist in unloading and storing new inventory shipments.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
    • Communicate effectively with the warehouse supervisor regarding any issues or needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in order fulfillment or a warehouse role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and order management.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test as part of the hiring process.
