Job Summary:

The Hotel Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean Guest Rooms: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing supplies.
  • Public Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, stairways, and restrooms.
  • Laundry Services: Collect, sort, and transport laundry to/from designated areas and ensure timely and proper handling of guest linens.
  • Supply Management: Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are stocked with necessary supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service to guests, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to meet guest needs and support hotel operations.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment, is a plus but not required.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods; lift, push, and pull items up to 25 pounds; and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
