Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

At Sherman Associates, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Sheraton Duluth Hotel. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure that all housekeeping staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure that they are sufficient and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all guest needs are met and that the hotel is running smoothly.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
