About Our Client:

One of Addison Group’s clients, a renowned mid-sized law firm, is seeking a Staff Assistant to support four government relations leaders.


Job Description:

This is a direct hire position requiring a background check. The Staff Assistant will support four government relations leaders by managing calendars, handling meeting logistics, planning travel, coordinating client interactions, preparing materials for meetings, and assisting with executive requests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendar requests, including meetings, calls, events, and other activities.
  • Handle meeting logistics, including preparation, distribution, and/or printing of materials, maintenance of calendar invites and RSVPs, greeting guests, and preparing technology (video conferencing, collaboration tools, etc.) in advance.
  • Plan for and execute travel arrangements, including international and domestic itineraries, bookings, and briefing materials preparation.
  • Coordinate client interaction and provide telephone and email assistance.
  • Prepare principles for a variety of internal and external meetings, by gathering, compiling, and reviewing briefing and logistical materials.
  • Operate as an extension or delegate of the executive by assisting with requests and inquiries to firm leadership.
  • Manage principles' contacts with discretion, including tracking, maintaining updated records, and fostering relationships with internal and external clients.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of administrative experience, specifically from the Hill/DOJ.
  • Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Soft Skills: Organized, sharp, reliable, strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Education: BA required.
