Parts Sales Specialist

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Parts Counter Salespersons primary responsibility is to effectively and efficiently sell parts and engage in the general operations associated with our parts business. Additional duties include maintaining a professional retail sales environment, promote customer satisfaction, and contribute to the teams overall success.

Specifically, the Parts Counter Salesperson is accountable for:

Greeting walk-in and phone-in customers in a friendly way, professionally qualifying their parts needs, and differentiating Riggs from our competitors by providing excellent customer service.
Selling parts to customers
Keeping parts inventories stocked and inventory correct in our computerized business system
Performing inventory audits
Contacting customers regarding parts availability
Clean, well organized, and stocked Parts & Service counter and Parts displays

Secondarily, the Parts Counter Salesperson duties include as necessary:

Working with the Service Supervisor and helping customers with their service questions and checking in their equipment
Assisting mechanics with getting parts for shop jobs
Executing on policies and procedures necessary to maximize operational efficiency
Other duties as necessary based on the needs of the business or customer

The requirements for the Parts Counter Sales position include:

Being ready for business by 7:45AM each day and work Saturdays during peak season
Ability to speak politely and maintain a professional appearance with customers over the phone and in the store
Ability to move and lift equipment and heavy objects

In addition to the competitive hourly wage, a monthly bonus based on achieving quota is paid
