Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Jonathan's Landing Golf Club, Jupiter

Overview:

Join our dynamic team at Jonathan's Landing Golf Club as a Human Resources Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial role in managing recruitment, hiring, and onboarding to ensure our club is staffed with top talent. This position involves administering benefits and ensuring compliance with labor laws and club policies. You will be pivotal in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our club's goals and objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR assistance, guidance, and support to team members regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the recruiting process, including posting jobs, screening resumes, setting up interviews, and conducting pre-employment checks.
  • Assist in conducting new hire orientation and support team members through the onboarding process.
  • Review new hire paperwork for completion and accuracy, assemble new hire packets, and update HR forms.
  • Maintain accurate team member information in the HRIS and ensure timely updates.
  • Coordinate and distribute team member benefit packages and enrollment materials, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Assist with annual Open Enrollment, Health Fair, and Wellness initiatives.
  • Provide assistance with FMLA, disability claims, flexible spending, and other benefit-related inquiries.
  • Manage complex team member relations issues and maintain personnel files.
  • Conduct routine I-9 audits and provide documentation for unemployment claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Assist with team member appreciation and recognition events, creating communication materials and organizing initiatives.
  • Support the management team with the annual performance review process and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college (Human Resource Management preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to create publications such as flyers and team member literature.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll software.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, speak, and perform repetitive movements with hands/wrists/fingers.
