We are currently looking to add a Junior / Recruiter at Blue Ocean Hire where you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent for our clients. You will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to support the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to facilitating the hiring process.


Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and fit for specific roles. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Candidate Management: Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, feedback, and guidance as needed.
  • Database Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the recruitment database. Keep detailed records of candidate interactions and progress.
  • Assistance with Recruitment Administration: Support the administrative aspects of the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting job openings, and coordinating candidate assessments.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and achieve hiring goals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position Blue Ocean Hire as a preferred employer and recruitment partner.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, etc. Experience in lieu of degree is also acceptable (New Graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or any related field is acceptable.
  • Previous military experience or US Veteran is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus (Crelate)
