Seeking Dental Assistant in Charlottesville, VA

Seeking a patient-focused Dental Assistant in Charlottesville, VA to join our team We are a well established and relationship-based prosthodontics practice. We offer a warm and welcoming office environment with an amazing staff of dental professionals.

Ideal candidate has some experience working as a Dental Assistant. We are looking for someone who has previous prosthodontics or oral surgery experience. If you're organized and enjoy helping patients then this is the right position for you X-ray certification is required.

Schedule: Full Time

  • Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5pm
  • Friday 8am - 1pm

Compensation:

  • $18-24 per hour (DOE, negotiable)

Dental Assistant duties include:

  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a warm and comfortable experience.Communicate effectively to ensure patient comfort and safety during treatments.Take and record medical and dental histories accurately.Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment steps.
  • Chairside Assistance: Assist in 4 and 6-handed dentistry, focusing on patient safety and comfort.Take and record digital X-rays and CT scans.Assist in advanced procedures, including full mouth rehabilitation and implant surgeries.Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean and sterile.
  • Digital Dentistry: Learn and assist in digital dental design, including intraoral scanning and 3D printing.Participate in the creation of digital treatment plans and temporary restorations.Collaborate with our in-house digital lab for same-day treatments.
  • Administrative Duties: Schedule patient appointments and help manage treatment plans.Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed.Track and record laboratory cases.
