QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of graduate degree (MA, MSW, PsyD, EdD, PhD) from an accredited college or university.
  • Capacity to integrate progressive Christian, Biblical, and spiritual frames of reference to counseling situations when clinically relevant.
  • Possession of or pursuit of appropriate state licensure.
  • 3 years experience working with clients is preferred, but recent graduates and LPCs with theoretical sophistication, interpersonal warmth, and the drive to learn and grow will certainly be considered as well.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Help your clients out, support them to a better place. Get to know their hearts and help them do what they need to so they can find life and healing.
  • Keep track of client scheduling and paperwork.
  • Reach out to new clients, and stay connected to current ones.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings/lunches, where you can let off steam, receive encouragement, and share your discoveries.
  • Attend regular supervision meetings and talk about whats going on with your clients... and with you
  • Work with our Administrative Manager to track client billing and payments.
  • Get in touch (and stay in touch) with the things that help you grow professionally, personally, and spiritually.
  • Actively seek out client referrals and network in order to enhance our referral sources.

JOB TYPE:
Full-time, Part-time.
Determine your own hours between 7am - 9pm.

PAY:
For a full-time load of 25 clients/week, approximately = $75,000 to $100,000+ annually.

BENEFITS:
LifePlace offers a 401(k) plan for full time counselors and will contribute 3% of your annual gross income, regardless of your participation in the plan.
