Looking for a great new opportunity?

ProCare Therapy, in collaboration with an excellent school district in the Libertyville, Illinoisarea, is seeking a School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This is a full time role, working in the middle school.

Job Type:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services and to develop appropriate interventions and strategies.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Serve as a resource for staff on issues related to mental health, learning disabilities, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate professional development workshops for school staff on topics such as child development, mental health awareness, and effective instructional strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop strategies to support their educational and emotional needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, such as student deaths, natural disasters, or other traumatic events.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal, state, and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate Level in School Psychology.
  • Must be licensed through ILBoard.
  • Must hold ILissued education certification.
  • School experience is preferred
