Job Responsibilities

  • Perform primarily in office with occasional field work.
  • Topographic, construction and boundary surveys
  • Perform calculations to determine traverse closures, traverse adjustments, field note reductions, boundary analysis and construction, deed sketches, area calculations, and alignments.
  • Review and check work for quality control.
  • Prepare metes and bounds descriptions for boundary surveying projects.
  • Conduct deed research
  • Perform and prepare topographic and tree location surveys
  • Coordinate with contractors for construction staking needs
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor.
  • Identify possible problems, conflicts, and brings to supervisor’s attention.
  • Other duties will consist of coordination of survey crews and equipment.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or specialized vocational training.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • LSIT licensure is ideal
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience in construction staking is a plus.
