Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

Responsible for a sow farm
Oversee and be actively involved in various sections of the farm including breeding,
farrowing, and GDU
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner with livestock and employees
Balance team and individual responsibilities, put success of team before own interests
and supports everyone’s efforts to succeed
Develop your staff to reach their fullest potential, may be asked to assist in training
other personnel as needed
Delegate work assignments and responsibilities to ensure farm is ran to the best of its
ability
Responsible for financial success of farm-overseeing payroll, supplies,
maintenance/repair budgets, and production reports
Complete paperwork, record keeping, and farm ordering
Understand and follow WFR’s biosecurity protocol, must shower in and out
Communicate with the WFR Swine Management Team
