Server & Cloud Services Manager (Remote)

We are actively seeking an infrastructure leader for our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor aligned with the automotive industry. The Server & Cloud Services Manager will take the lead in managing our client’s server and cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This exciting role will immerse you in cutting-edge projects, from data center consolidation to virtualization and disaster recovery, driving our IT infrastructure to new heights.

Location: Remote, working central time zone hours

This full-time, direct hire role is expected to pay about $130-140k annually plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers in VMWare and Hyper-V environments.
  • Lead the consolidation of four data centers into two, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Oversee infrastructure projects, including server, storage, and telephony systems.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Disaster Recovery plan.
  • Manage Storage Area Networks and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Provide project management leadership and ensure successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

What Gets You The Job:

  • Extensive experience in virtualization and data center management, particularly with VMWare or Hyper-V.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions, preferably with Veeam.
  • Strong experience with Storage Area Networks and Windows Server management.
  • Proficient knowledge of cloud services, including AWS and Azure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a confident and assertive personality.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, "full-contact" environment.
