Schedule: Full-time, 8am to 5pm, Mon-Fri

Employee Type: Non -Exempt Employee

Pay Type: Hourly with Benefits

Position Summary: The Warehouse Quality Associate must be able to complete required tasks with safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service mindset while still meeting deadlines. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the quality associate oversees quality tasks performed in the warehouse to include confirming random orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly. The quality associate will also quality check the Dot It replenishment task. The quality associate ensures associates are following Dot It guidelines for the efficient and safe handling of customer orders. Must be able to shift priorities to adjust to changing business demands. The quality associate will collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to operate within all guidelines and partner for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Audit randomly picked, packed, and shipped orders with quality and customer service top of mind.
  • Confirm part accuracy.
  • Confirm quality of all parts/items
  • Confirm quantity of all parts/items
  • Confirm accuracy of ship to
  • Audit replenishment bins to ensure part and quantity accuracy.
  • Confirm associates meet key operating objectives in the areas of quality and safety.
  • Confirm associates follow Dot It guidelines for the efficient and safe handling of customer orders
  • Shift priorities to adjust to changing business demands.
  • Communicate in a professional manner with Managers and internal departments.
  • Monitor, report, and work to prevent losses in the facility.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly statistics updates.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping policies.
  • Enter errors/issues daily into spreadsheet.
  • Promote constant and measurable quality improvement.
  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess solid judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, secure, and safe working environment.
  • Frequent requirement of use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands or arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand, kneel, or stoop, and lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent use of ladder

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in applicable field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing, shipping, trouble shooting and inventory maintenance.
  • Must be Fluent in English, both written and verbal

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable with leading change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with employees at all levels.
  • Experience interacting with senior leaders and across business areas.
  • Excellent written, verbal and communications skills.
