Job Summary:
The Executive Chef at Barefoot Hide A Way Grill is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food and service is provided to our guests. This is a full-time, management position located in beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida. This position will manage the back-of-house.

Responsibilities:
1. Menu Creation and Planning:
- Develop and maintain a diverse and innovative menu that reflects the local flavors and ingredients of Panama City Beach.
- Plan and create seasonal menu specials, taking into account dietary restrictions and food trends.
- Manage food costs and budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

2. Kitchen Operations:
- Responsible for all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in working order.
- Monitor and maintain food inventory levels to avoid shortage or waste.

3. Staff Management and Training:
- Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to kitchen staff.
- Create and maintain a positive and professional work environment for kitchen staff.

4. Food Safety and Sanitation:
- Ensure that all kitchen operations and food preparation adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen at all times.
- Oversee proper food storage and labeling to avoid cross-contamination and food spoilage.

5. Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with other departments to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to ensure the highest quality of food and service is provided to guests.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in culinary management in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
