Main Job Duties:


  • Prioritize your work schedule effectively
  • Some Travel to job sites (mostly in the Midwest, within 2 hours)
  • Communicate clearly and positively with customers
  • Perform field service, calibration, and repair of drives and control systems
  • Troubleshoot and support discrete controllers, PLC, and SCADA systems in the shop and at customer sites
  • Handle smaller engineering projects


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 2 years' related field service/engineering experience
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience with highly technical products and knowledge of mechanical components of control systems
  • Knowledge of drives and controls systems and communication protocols
  • Knowledge and experienced with PLC Controls, AC/DC Drive Controls, SCADA systems
  • Experienced with paper converting, plastic extrusions or rewinding if a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft and AutoCAD
  • Ability to travel locally and up to 20% overnight
