Easy Tiger is seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our team at our South Lamar location. Known for our artisanal breads, rotating craft beers, and relaxing, come-as-you-are ambiance, we pride ourselves on creating a unique and exceptional dining experience. Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a full bar and a happy hour program Mon-Fri. We are dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative work culture and are excited to welcome a dynamic leader with strong full-service restaurant and catering experience.
Position Overview:
As the General Manager of Easy Tiger South Lamar, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success of our establishment through upholding our brand standards, offering our guests exceptional hospitality and developing our team and culture. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of excellence in full-service restaurant and catering management, who resides within the Austin area. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and deliver memorable experiences to our guests.

SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Salaried / Exempt
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the South Lamar location, maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. Ensure the ambiance consistently represents our brand and guest interests.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial performance, working closely with the executive team to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate the front-of-house and back-of-house, fostering a culture of hospitality, teamwork, excellence, pride and fun.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure consistent exceptional service and guest satisfaction, resolving issues promptly and maintaining an inviting atmosphere.
- Catering & Events Leadership: Drive successful execution of event & catering opportunities, including planning and executing a wide range of events from private parties to corporate gatherings by partnering with our catering and events team.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, event planners, and the Austin community to drive our reputation and business.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in managing a large format, full-service restaurant and bar.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to meet financial targets and manage budgets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and make Easy Tiger South Lamar exceptional.
- Current Texas Food Manager Certification and TABC
- Open availability; we are open mornings, nights and weekends
- Displays a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft & Google Suite) and office skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, and carry or pull objects that may be heavy
- Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
- Ability to perform other job duties as they arise
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of restaurant financial statements and reports.
- Preferably trained on Toast, the restaurant POS system, and TripleSeat, the events booking system.
