Required qualifications

- Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL, Java, or PL/I commonly used in mainframe environments.

- Familiarity with mainframe databases, middleware, and communication protocols.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are preferred.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize mainframe applications and systems on AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment on AWS.
- Experience in conducting architecture reviews and providing recommendations for mainframe modernization on AWS.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and security best practices in AWS environments.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and drive innovation in the mainframe modernization space on AWS.
