Job Description - Preventative Maintenance - Sohn Linen Service Inc.

Join Our Team as a Preventative Maintenance Technician

Sohn Linen is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Lansing, MI as a Preventative Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our equipment and facilities are operating at optimal levels to prevent any potential issues and maintain a smooth workflow.

Shift is second: Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm.
**Will be first shift for training purposes to start**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns
  • Troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement effective solution
  • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and address maintenance needs in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

Qualifications:

  • Experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment is a plus but not required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
