Application Engineer Server/Telecom Intern

Who we look for?

MPS is seeking a creative, collaborative, and self-motivated intern with a passion for hardware and good knowledge of power electronics, specifically buck converters. The main responsibilities are to provide on-site application support for EU Telecom, Networking, IPC, and Computing customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide on-site application support for EU Telecom, Networking, IPC, and Computing customers.
  • Desing, simulating, and validating power electronics circuits to meet the required specifications.
  • Develop application reference circuits (schematic and PCB).
  • Help to write application notes, design notes, and articles in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.

Qualifications:

  • MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Knowledge of power electronics (buck converters) and control is desired.
  • Experience using laboratory equipment, including oscilloscope, power supplies, function generator, network analyzer, etc.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation.
  • Self-motivated, strong team player.
