Job Description MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated engineer with strong knowledge in power electronics. This person will work in supporting to introduce AC/DC and DC/DC converter solution in our potential customer, providing expertise knowledge and developing prototypes for specific applications. The engineer will collaborate with customers and design team and customers to propose novel solutions to expand current MPS portfolio.

Essential Functions: Develop new architectures for high AC-DC and DC-DC power devices Simulate and evaluate requirements of new designs. Propose different solution focus on cost, efficiency or space. Design schematic and PCB to deliver a fully testable solution. Validate, test and document new reference design and integrated circuits. Including transient, ripple and EMC measurements. Support marketing and sales on the development of Proof-of-concept and EVB for show our solutions. Write technical articles, datasheet and application notes. Support customer around Europe and US to introduce MPS solutions

Qualifications: BS in related engineering field (MS preferred) Solid understanding and experience in power electronic and analog design. Good knowledge in power electronics architectures (one phase or 3 phase), circuits and devices (Silicon carbide devices, Gan device) Experience of modeling and control of power converter Good knowledge on CAD software (Altium/Orcad preferred) and development of schematic and PCB layouts. Oral / written proficiency in English. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
