Role: Work closely with our Marketing department to assist in various projects and initiatives aimed at promoting our products and services, engaging our members, enhancing our brand, and participating in community activities. Assists in the production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits or other promotional materials.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategies to attract and retain members.Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms, website, newsletters and other marketing materials. Assist with the managing social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging followers, and monitoring analytics to optimize performance.Participate in community events and activities to promote 1st MidAmerica Credit Union and build relationships with community members.Support the planning and execution of events, promotions and community outreach activities.Assist in monitoring and analyzing marketing metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.Provide administrative support, including organizing files, maintaining marketing materials inventory.Performs other job related duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:Successfully complete all assigned responsibilities within designated timeframe with zero unresolved errors according to established department standards.Provide informed, prompt, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associatesEnsure all forms of department communications are accurate , timely, and within budget guidelines.Maintain and increase current marketing knowledge and proficientcy through professional literature and educational programs.Knowledge and Skills:ExperienceThe role can be learned in hours, days, or weeks.EducationCurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field. Previous marketing experience or coursework is a plus, but not required.Interpersonal SkillsWork involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.Other SkillsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for details. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills. Creative thinking and problem solving abilities. Willingness to participate in community activities and represent 1stMid America Credit Union in a positive manner. Ability to drive to events and other credit union branches as needed.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand or sit for long periods of time.
