Technical Writer

Summary:

Technical Writers will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT projects, systems, and processes in Miami-Dade County. They will produce user manuals, technical guides, and other documentation to ensure effective communication of complex technical information.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce user manuals, technical guides, and system documentation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to end users.
  • Maintain documentation libraries and update materials as necessary.
  • Keep up-to-date with technology and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical writing, documentation, or content creation.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of documentation tools and formats (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, Markdown).
