Position: Chief Marketing Officer


Your Team

This position will work directly with the CEO while overseeing senior leaders throughout the company, as well as oversee the Company’s Content Production in relation to Projects and related staff.


Position Summary

This role hinges on expert project management within the marketing domain. It demands a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills and can adeptly coordinate various project elements to ensure consistent, timely, and reliable delivery. They serve as the vital link between our ambitious marketing campaigns and the operational teams, ensuring seamless alignment and on-time execution. Collaboration with the leadership team is essential, as this role drives the realization of major campaigns, ensuring they align with predefined timelines.


This position will be the orchestrator of the processes, from brainstorming ideas to making them happen. It's about ensuring smooth teamwork between Marketing, Customer Experience, and Content Management to make our marketing efforts successful.


Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy:

  • Works with Executive Officers to forecast upcoming industry trends
  • Managing the various stages of bringing a new product to market. Works with managers, designers, content writers, product managers, digital and social specialists to ensure that each element of the product is delivered on time and meets all of the project requirements.
  • Able to keep the team unified in their understanding of deadlines and goals.
  • Managing and coordinating multiple projects with external agencies and partners.
  • Tracking the progress of individual projects and ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals. Includes scheduling meetings, managing multiple project management calendars making sure that everyone is on the same page regarding deadlines, and responding to team questions.
  • Managing and coordinating project status and product information requests
  • Support Marketing Department to ensure that goals are accomplished, and deadlines are met.
  • Works in a fast-paced collaborative environment with multiple departments and sometimes uncertain or changing delivery dates.
  • Ensuring Brand of products is inline with overall company branding
  • Oversee the content library
  • Making sure the leadership understands what products and deliverables are being brought to market

Architecture:

  • Facilitates major operational initiatives for the company 
  • Creates SOP’s and guidance around operational initiatives
  • Continually tests and examines current Company operations for improvement and efficiency 
  • Postures as contact point for any external teams providing the Company with operational projects and/or strategies

  • Displays proficiency using standard office equipment such as a computer, scanner, etc.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency by quickly adapting to new technology and easily acquiring new technical skills

Requirements

___________________________________________________________________________________________


  • 10+ years of a well-rounded combination of product management, strategy, operations, product analytics, program/project management, or consulting management and execution experience in positions of increasing responsibility
  • Extensive experience working directly with Executive leadership, and steering Executive alignment across multiple business units.
  • Ability to motivate and lead large cross-functional teams by example, even when challenges are extremely complex and solutions are unclear. 
  • Proven track record of managing strategy & operational teams in large, matrixed organizations (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and more).
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of elevating an e-commerce B2C company to 7 figures and beyond.
