Job DescriptionJob Description

We're partnering with a hugely exciting business in the oil and gas industry on a search for a Staff Accountant. This firm is projected to double in size over the next few years, as it deploys capital globally, and this is a phenomenal opportunity to get in at ground level.

In this newly created position, you'll report to the Controller and support both onshore and offshore business activities, including implementing and scaling all accounting and reporting processes, supporting the monthly close process and audit requests, and providing senior leaders with insights into the financials. This is a high exposure role that will expand along with the business, and offers a ton of career growth.

Comp and benefits package is excellent and you'll be based 5 days a week in office.

About you:

  • 3+ years of progressive accounting or Big 4 audit experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Oil and gas industry experience required
  • Must be a self starter who can execute on a small team and build relationships around the business proactively
