As the Global Network Manager, you'll be the linchpin in ensuring seamless operations and near-perfect system uptime. From providing invaluable feedback and guidance to global teams to meticulously maintaining project plans and coordinating regional efforts, your expertise will drive excellence in IT infrastructure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT Infrastructure projects globally, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversees the Americas region IT network team including Network Engineers and provides network governance globally.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed project documentation, from task lists to network configurations, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout infrastructure initiatives.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for network issues, acting as a crucial escalation point for service technicians and spearheading solutions to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and consultants, manage acquisition projects, and supervise technical teams, optimizing resources and expertise to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and implement processes for ongoing server management, ensuring data center security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage Active Directory design and configuration, facilitating seamless interoperability with legacy systems and non-Microsoft directory structures for future scalability and efficiency.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated resource allocation and information sharing, fostering synergy and maximizing the impact of technology projects.
  • Maintain effective communication channels, providing regular updates on project status and collaborating with stakeholders to address concerns and optimize project outcomes.
  • Uphold organizational and safety policies, ensuring compliance with established procedures and contributing to a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Prepare project information to support IT strategy, aligning infrastructure initiatives with overarching organizational objectives.
  • Execute special projects as assigned by the Head of IT Infrastructure, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in addressing evolving organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree (B.A) in Business Administration or Computer Science from a reputable 4-year college or university.
  • Demonstrate 7 to 9 years of prior experience in a supervisory capacity within a relevant field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Showcase expertise in working with a diverse range of technologies, including Windows 2003-2016, VMware, Server Blade Technologies, Cisco routing and switching, Cisco wireless, Ubiquiti wireless and switches, as well as SDWAN technologies such as Aryaka.
  • Experience with SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) is highly desirable and will be viewed as a significant advantage in the selection process.
  • Possess the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals, ensuring clear understanding and compliance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in drafting routine reports and correspondence, maintaining clarity and professionalism in written communication.
  • Capable of speaking confidently and effectively before groups of customers or employees, conveying information persuasively and engaging audiences.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian languages in speaking, writing, and reading is considered a significant advantage, enhancing your ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and expanding the reach of our organization.
  • Possessing a current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification, or similar certification from a reputable Microsoft accredited education institution or recognized professional association in the relevant field, is highly desirable and will be viewed favorably in the selection process.
  • Having a foundational understanding of the Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry, as well as recognizing the pivotal role of technology in enhancing organizational efficiency, is advantageous and will be considered a valuable asset.
  • General understanding of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry, and the role of technology in supporting organizational effectiveness is a plus.
