Position Summary:
Great Oaks Charter School is seeking a passionate and innovative Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team. We're looking for an educator who can inspire students to embrace technology, foster digital literacy, and prepare our learners for the challenges of the 21st century. If you're excited about shaping young minds in the rapidly evolving world of technology, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging technology curriculum for students
Teach computer skills, coding, digital literacy, and other relevant tech topics
Integrate technology across other subject areas
Maintain and manage classroom technology resources
Stay current with emerging educational technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field
Valid teaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong knowledge of current educational technology trends
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Experience teaching technology subjects preferred
