What you’ll do here:
Manage the claims process from receiving the claim through approval and payment.
Handle all customers with the highest level of professionalism providing world-class customer service
Provide guidance to customers to facilitate understanding of recommended treatments and associated coverages
Monitor, track, and report on claims submitted
Interact with veterinary clinics and customers to ensure timely responses to questions and claim resolution
Meet or exceed all partner and Companion Protect, LLC standards for timeliness, accuracy, and claims volume
Create and document processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improved system processes
Evaluate issues outside the scope of claims responsibility but necessary to the process of payment, directing the issues to the appropriate department with follow-up to ensure resolution of the issue resulting in claim payment
All other duties as assigned including processing of insurance applications, managing customer failed payments and light technical support to clients
What you’ll bring to the team:
3+ years’ experience as an Insurance Claims Representative or experience in the Veterinary Clinics or related field
State issued Claims Adjuster License
Experienced in communication with customers via phone, email, chat, or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience learning and using new technology
High school diploma required

A current property and casualty license
A current certification as a Veterinary Technician
