SPI Lighting is in search of a strong design engineer to join our New Product Development team who can creatively and elegantly take an architectural lighting project from concept to production. You will lead the design process, from concept development, feasibility studies, CAD modeling, and BOM creation, to prototype construction, product testing, marketing support, and production ramp-up. We are proud to have all under one roof at our beautiful facility located in Mequon, WI, just twenty-five minutes from downtown Milwaukee.

We desire a candidate to have 5+ years of experience in product design. In addition to 3D CAD experience (Autodesk Inventor® is a plus,) the candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude and be knowledgeable in a variety of manufacturing processes. Lighting specific experience is highly desirable. We typically look for candidates with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, but value experience in industrial design as well.
