As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Compliance team

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Department with tasks related to determining the eligibility of applicants and residents within our affordable housing developments. You will also complete many tasks in accordance with affordable housing program requirements such as Tax Credit, Section 8, Rural Development, and HOME programs that are monitored by the local, State, and Federal government.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform day to day administrative tasks such as email, answering phones, filing and sorting mail
  • Review applications and annual certifications
  • Obtain required supporting documentation
  • Ensure files are well organized and information is readily available
  • Data entry in various computer programs, including Microsoft Office
  • Maintain excellent communication and resolve issues quickly and accurately
  • Maintain credentials for access to confidential information
  • Perform all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner
  • Additional administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous office experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work well independently as well as in a group setting
  • Property Management experience or previous housing compliance experience preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint and Yardi preferred
