Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummaryServes as the interface between the company and our customer base to provide immediate information on delivery information. Works primarily with the Inventory Control Group and sales division to support customers.Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with greeting and directing all visitors entering through the main lobby       insuring they sign in and out. 
  • Answers all incoming calls and directs them to the proper personnel.
  • Communicates with customers and sales representatives on orders:  providing PODs, MTRs, C of Cs, copies of invoices, etc.
  • Provides morning reports for: open orders, transfers, late deliveries and reschedules as needed with Sales and Shipping supervisor. 
  • Performs job order completion and revises BOM’s as needed.
  • Handles receiving in the system when necessary.
  • Performs daily shipping, billing, printing back orders and Invoicing.
  • Performs all Scanning of documents into Document Manager.
  • Supports branch purchasing by entering and expediting transfers from other branches.
  • Advises sales of any discrepancies, shortages, or non-conformance issues.
  • Provides delivery information to customers by obtaining necessary documentation from inventory control and transportation companies.
  • Will assist the timely receipt of any RMA Related materials and or accounting functions, as requested by management.
  • Maintain a neat clean work environment; desk organized.
  • Assists other departments when needed.
  • May perform other duties assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor or Branch Manager.

  • Professional phone skills are required included with enthusiasm and proper tone to project a professional image to all contacts.
  • Knowledge of:  SL8 Customer Order Processes – Document Management, Windows and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

  • Capability of Multitasking.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to type at an accurate speed.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Teamwork a must.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Work Experience
  • General Office, Computer and organization experience helpful.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to maintain composure during periods of high stress.
  • Regular attendance is necessary.
  • Ability to sit most of the day and handle multiple things at once.
